Internal security has
witnessed an increasing focus in the recent past. While this gets reflected in
the increased budgetary allocation for security expenditure, Ministry of Home
Affairs (MHA) has also sought to create physical and policy-level framework for
long term development of security infrastructure. Over the last few years,
considerable progress had been made; and yet much needs to be done for gearing
up to the need of new emerging India.
This book on Internal
Security (though it is an old edition) gives insight into the internal
security challenges of India in detail. It will help in the development of a better
understanding.
